Community Promise

COMMUNITY PROMISE Now that we are slowly and carefully emerging from lockdown, we’ve created the Promise to support our lovely local community. The Promise contains ten easy to do things to help our community get back on its feet and return to normal as soon as it’s safe to do so. We love our area, and that’s why we’re making these promises. Let us know if you are taking part and what you’ll be doing. Lawrence Rand has come up with the Promise to encourage people to support local businesses, visit nearby attractions, and promote positivity. The Promise contains ten easy to do things, including helping keep the area clean and tidy, rewarding excellent customer service with loyalty, and spending £10 in a local independent shop. Peter Lawrence said: “We need to rally around together like we did when the first lockdown happened. The Promise is a way for us to show our support and help our area return to normal. We’d love to hear from people who are taking the Promise and hope it captures the attention of our community.”
