Innovative new property recruiter, Estate Agency All-Stars, is pleased to announce the successful placement of its first ‘All-Star’ with Ruislip-based estate agents, Lawrence Rand.
Having successfully negotiated the All-Stars application process, which included a psychometric test, presenting a 60-second video ‘elevator pitch’ and an interview with owner, Peter Lawrence, Marco Moloudi, 22, was offered the role of Trainee Negotiator.
Marco will now attend the first 10-day Estate Agency All-Stars course, where he and a number of other successful applicants with other firms will be introduced to all areas of estate agency, from legislation and carrying out viewings to handling fee enquiries and converting valuation opportunities.
Launched only this year, Estate Agency All-Stars has turned the estate agent recruitment industry on its head and is offering a much more thorough candidate selection process to agents. Its comprehensive 10-day course also means that every All-Star hits the ground running.
Marco Moloudi, Trainee Negotiator, Lawrence Rand, commented:
“The All-Stars application process, especially the video presentation, was different to anything I’ve been through before, and really requires you to engage and think about the role you are applying for. The fact that I will have had full training before I start makes it much less daunting, too. By the time I turn up on Day One I will know all the basics of estate agency and should be able to make a far bigger impact. I’m really excited about building a career in estate agency.”
Peter Lawrence, Director, Lawrence Rand estate agents, added:
“Using Estate Agency All-Stars was so much less time-intensive than traditional property recruiters, who simply put forward people they think are half-decent then expect you to do most of the leg work working out whether they are. When Marco came to meet us, I had already seen his video presentation and so had a good sense of what he was like and whether he would fit in. Within an hour I had offered him a role. The real value-added with Estate Agency All-Stars is that when Marco does start, the course he will have been on means he will already be familiar with the many challenges of the role. That in itself is invaluable.”
Josh Rayner, Director, Estate Agency All-Stars, commented:
“It’s great to have our first All-Star placed, especially with an agency as well regarded as Lawrence Rand. Marco did a great video turn, flew through the psychometric test and had a strong interview, so it’s no surprise he was offered a position. The next step is to get him up to speed with all the basics of estate agency so that when he starts he’ll add value straight away.”
